Working in a corporate finance Job

When I was young I dreamt of becoming a professional who would be highly qualified and understand the toughest financial aspects of the industry. In short, I wanted to be and look successful. Now that I am grown up and I have a good-paying job at least on par with market standards. what I learnt…

You don't have to choose finance or any technical subject to become successful

Money is a materialistic thing that you would not require the toughest of qualifications to grow and own. you can as well own it in the simplest jobs maybe you are earning a little higher than admin jobs but what you lose in return is much more than what you earn. I am not saying settle for less. Perhaps, having time for yourself and living a stress-free life are equally important. Every job is stressful but if you are involved in numbers and people chasing you from everywhere then you will loose the piece of mind.

Ignorance is bliss

Sometimes, being a committed and dedicated professional doesn't really favour you. I have seen my colleagues who escape the situations most of the time are happier. Perhaps, maybe it's just a commitment I prefer and like to fulfil as I like to or at least try to be perfect but trust me in many organizations it's not appreciated. They will load you with more work if you are not able to say No.

Being clueless

It's not me who has been clueless. I know from the beginning what I wanted but I am reconsidering my choices as most of the finance…
