Why being antisocial is good?

Often in society, we are perceived that being social is the norm and if you dont talk to anyone then you are perceived as a snob or not-so-friendly person. I am not saying talk to anyone or sit in a corner and be the rudest person but there is no need to prove yourself and be a part of the crowd when you don’t want to and I will give you a few reasons why being antisocial sometimes works in your favour.

Focus

When you dont have many people around you, you will focus more on what needs to be accomplished, e.g. the things thatmatter to you the most. You can get into a course or follow a hobby or passion with not many people around you to distract you and time in your hands. This will improve you as a person on an overall basis instead of wasting time on random people who dont add any value to your lives

Privacy is the key

Most of the time being yourself or being not so social means you are not oversharing things about your life with a random person which means you have a private life. It is most of the time good as when you dont tell things to people there is no fear of failure or success or unnecessary load on your back to prove yourself to people who are not important and you have to only prove yourself to yourself and no one else. You tend to understand yourself more and you fail in private the quote states “Work in silence. Let your success make the noise”. Most of the time people are just jealous when you succeed and they will like it if you fail and you are depressed. Not that…
