The Ways on coping up with Failure
There can be many ways to cope after falling and failing and some may really touch you and make you feel that you are not doing enough to achieve what you aim to achieve. For a few of them, it could be a Job, an exam, a marriage or maybe even getting out of a toxic relationship or having a baby.
We usually get upset when we don't get what we aim for and we disappoint ourselves and assume that we are not capable of achieving something we aim to achieve. Sometimes the failure may be a redirection to something better and bigger. There are few ways to cope up with failure and rejection
Find the cause of failure or rejection
If it is writing an exam then you may perhaps go back and analyze the way of studying and talk to people who have already passed those exams and the way they prepared for it so you can do this time a bit differently. Remember, always you know one way which doesn't work and there are many alternative ways which can work. Failure and rejections do feel bad but that should not stop you from achieving them. You should motivate yourself to get up and try again but this time differently. If it is a job, then always look for a job description and compare your experience with the role and try to modify your CV accordingly or learn the skills they ask for and then apply so your rejection chances are minimized. If it is a marriage, always remember marriage takes two people. It cannot be one-sided. If it's meant to be God will move both the hearts and not just one. If the marriage has not taken place there is always a blessing behind it. I don't say just accept it but chose your partner so he or she supports you. If they don't then they are not supposed to be your partners for life. But, if it is a baby then you may need to understand and trust your journey. do what it takes so you can be healthy and try again and consult the doctors. Pray to God till he accepts your request. It is called a blessing for a reason.
Find alternate ways of succeeding
Once you have analyzed the reason and you know what wrong you are doing. half the job is done. Take out that route and find alternate ways which work for you. Write down each route and analyze it correctly. In management language, it is called SWOT analysis. Strength, weakness, opportunities, and loss. we often think all these theories don't work in real life but to be honest, they do, at least they take out half the confusion on finding out which is the best option to try. The strength of an option shows usually the best things which can come out if you choose that particular option, weakness is what harm or wrong can happen if you chose that option and which you shouldn't choose that option. Opportunities are the opportunity of getting few other benefits if you choose that option and finally threats are usually what obstacles can occur if you choose that option. It is a matrix that could be used in daily life whether you want to make decisions or choose different plans.
Choose the option and put your efforts
Once you have analyzed the option, trust the journey and put your full efforts into achieving it, and believe in yourself as no one else is going to do that for you. Make yourself stronger, physically and mentally, and remember confidence doesn't always shout. It is just the little voice in your mind and heart which states that you can do it and if you trust you surely will!!
