The Dream of being a Writer
I can imagine we are all on medium for a reason as we carry the aspiration to be a writer at some point in life, However, as much as we want to get into writing. It is not so easy to pay the bills with the writing we have just started. No one grows great in a day. It takes strategic planning, practice, passion, and dedication to be one. Having said that, after struggling to make my career for almost 10 years it's been a weird shift I am aspiring to. Many people who hear me think I must be stupid to leave my career and shift but I am looking for something more. As much as I love number crunching, I also like to talk and influence people but my job somewhere doesn't allow me as I have to follow the protocol.
Thinking out of odds
I believe that if you chase something it will be yours. It is just a matter of time and what you chase you will become one day. I aspire to be a writer and be able to write smoothly on any topics being given to me. I would like to influence the readers on their opinions. For that, I need to read. So, should you read too much to be a good writer? Yes, to pen something you need to research and be able to talk on that topic. Writing is no different. If I have to write sensibly. I first have to research on the topic be well versed and then pen it so I am able to deliver the output in a way that the readers enjoy it.
Getting into writing
This is just my experience of how I started dreaming to be a writer. I am always amazed to have knowledge. when someone talks to me about any topic or reads about the topic. The idea of carrying so much knowledge makes me do it. My day job is limited it is just supporting and knowing about the business. I would like to have knowledge in various fields and writing is the dream which will let me read and gain the knowledge and pass on the knowledge to others. I think to some extent even teaching does that but teaching has a niche to be looked into for example. I cannot go and teach medico’s on anatomy but I can still read on anatomy and write on whatever I know so I Can pass that knowledge. Writing is limitless. It helps me expand my areas and gain knowledge on any topic I want to gain.
How it started
As I have mentioned in my profile. I hold MBA and another professional qualification in accounting. The qualification I achieved is to be working for a blue-chip company working and problem-solving their issues which I am currently working on but It has taught me much more on how to analyze and interpret case studies. The more I read on case studies. The more I started interpreting and started writing. IT made me realize what I actually like to do and I hope to be a full-fledged strategic writer someday for now I am just learning
Conclusion
Do not limit yourself. Never ever think you cannot do it. If someone says you cannot do it. They are just speaking for themselves. The world is your oyster. If you can dream it you can achieve it. Perhaps these are a few things that I would like to inculcate in my life and dream to be one of the Top writers someday.
