The decline of Bollywood

Many Indians are born watching and humming Bollywood songs but as we are growing from the 90’s era of Bollywood we are realising the stupidity of Bollywood filmmakers. I think we were helpless as we didn’t have exposure to good stories except in Hollywood and with the rise of online entertainment series like Netflix andprime. Bollywood seems to be the silliest and last thing I switch on to as I have access to Kdramas, and South Indian movies as language is no more a barrier with subtitles especially when I watch south Indian movies, in particular, Malayalam I feel they have much better script writers than Bollywood movies. Where are the Bollywood moviemakers even lacking?

Lack of script

Bollywood movies have a good budget in action, hiring the most glamourous actresses, setting up a set for a stupid item song but no budget to hire a script writer or they dont think it’s an important part of the movie. Most of the Bollywood stories revolve around a guy who meets a girl and they fall in love and there is a villain who molests the actress and the hero is the saviour or a rich girl or a poor man or either of it. We are so sick of watching the same stories with different actors that it’s high time they should hire good scriptwriters.

Nepotism

The major drawback of Bollywood is not giving chances to outsiders and hiring the same…
