How does an Indian Muslim feel living abroad?

I am not a religious or political writer and this is my first article on religion and bias faced as an Indian Muslim personally despite not residing in India. I know this article will outrage many if they read and can be contradictory to many fellow Indians but I felt the necessity to write this so that someone out there who is on the same journey should not feel that they are alone. So, why is this article important or what is so special? A disclaimer I would like to put across is this article is based on my personal experience and has nothing to do with anyone else and there are no stereotypes. I am thinking that many Muslims may face the same living abroad that I just faced and which actually upset me for a couple of days.

Whatever is happening in India nowadays is not hidden and has not remained just within India it has spread like wildfire even in western nations and the brainwashed NRI’s although educated and earning in dollars or pounds and are in higher positions have failed in terms of humanity and education when they treat Indians, especially Muslims like outsiders as we dont belong to any community in India. I am not sure why is a single religion targeted when there are plenty of religions. Ok, I dont blame them, I blame the source. I dont support any political party nor I am outrightly religious but when a person is spreading hatred openly it’s my duty to stand for my people and my community who are innocent.

I had this conversation with two friends, who happen to be my neighbours or at least I…
